QUESTIONS ABOUT SHIPPING AND RETURNS
How long will it take for my item to arrive?
Each item is handmade by me so please allow for up to a week to make your item and THEN add shipping times to that.
Custom work or items with multiple charms will obviously take more time. Please refer to the Product Information of the FAQS section for more details on custom orders and time involved in making a charm.
If you need a rush order, please contact me via email and we can further discuss details. I want you to be happy with your item, which means not rushing through the process of making it.
Where do you ship to?
Smitten will ship anywhere in the world! If your location is not listed in my shipping section, please contact me so I can add it!
For buyers outside of Canada, you will be responsible for any customs or duty fees that may apply. Smitten is also not responsible for any delays due to customs.
Why is shipping so expensive?
Unfortunately, Canada Post sets the prices, not me. I get my rates from Canada Post's website where you can plug in dimensions of the package and its corresponding weight and delivery location. Ironically, shipping within Canada is way higher than shipping to the USA or internationally. I've set the prices according to region but if your final shipping price is significantly less than what I've quoted you when I take it to the post office, I will happily refund you the difference!
Please note that the stated shipping charges are only for basic shipping. If you would like tracking or expedited delivery, that will cost more. Please contact me if you would like an advanced shipping method and I can find out the costs for you.
I am only accepting payments via PayPal at this time. This is for your protection as well as mine. If you do not have a Paypal account, you can still log on as a guest and put your order through.
How do you feel about returns?
Returns are welcome under the following conditions:
1) The buyer must contact me within 5 days of receiving the delivery with any concerns they may have so I may have an opportunity to rectify them..
2) The buyer will be responsible for any shipping return costs, so the refund will be for the price of the item, minus shipping fees.
3) If the item is not returned within 14 days and/or it is not in its original condition, the buyer will assume repsonsiblity of losses. I will process the refund once I have received the item(s).
No exchanges will be accepted unless it is not the item you ordered,
Custom orders are non-refundable but I will send you progress photos to ensure you are happy with it before it is shipped.
For hygienic reasons, earrings cannot be returned.
If an item is damaged in the mail, please contact me upon receiving it and include photos of the damage and I will replace it.
